My Days Off Are A Lie (But Go Off, Laundry)

My "days off" are a lie. Bold-faced, laundry-covered, snack-wrangling lie. Sure, the store's closed. But somehow thats when the real chaos clocks in--laundry multiplies like it's been left unsupervised too long ( because it has), the kids suddenly need 47 snacks an hour, and my to-do list grows a new head every time I cross something off. So no, I'm not "resting." But go off, laundry. Live your truth. I'll be here...pretending I'm not ignoring you.

They Mailed Me A Letter (And No It Wasn't a Love Note)

They mailed me a letter. And no-before yor heart starts fluttering-this wasn't a love note. It wasn't scented with lavendar or sealed with a kiss. It was sealed with judgement and maybe a little tape residue from 2003. You know what it was, though? A weirdly passionate rant about how I run my store, raise my kids, and probably breathe wrong. Which, honestly, takes commitment. Like, imagine being so mad you buy stamps. lol !
